About Tanco Organization
Tanzania Nutrition Care Organization (TANCO) is a non-governmental organization established on December 14, 2022. TANCO is legally registered with the Registrar of Non-Governmental Organizations under the Ministry of Community Development, Gender, Women, and Special Groups with registration number ooNGO/R/4129.
The organization operates primarily from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with the mission to address food and nutrition-related challenges and enhance the health and well-being of communities across the country.

To accelerate improvements in community health and wellbeing through Food and Nutrition in Tanzania.
Objectives Of Tanco
- Collaborates with key Stakeholders to solve the greatest Food and
Nutrition challenges in the community. - Have great impact in eliminating all forms of malnutrition.
- Empowering the community through various program that focus on
creating awareness of economic opportunities found in the given localities
which will trigger their good nutrition status. - Cooperating with Government and other stakeholders in the promotion and
consideration of gender issues in the community. - Influencing the community and the government in the improvement of
various services including agriculture and the environment which are
directly related to the nutritional status of people.
